Chike-Ezekpeazu Osebuka popularly known as just Chike is a singer, songwriter, and actor. His unique style of blending RnB with highlife and Afro-pop has helped him carve a niche for himself in the Nigerian music industry.

Chike is a native of Onitsha, Anambra State in Nigeria. He was born on the 28th of January 1993 to a family of four children. He is a graduate of Computer Engineering from Covenant University. He comes from a musically talented family and so had the passion to take up music as a career.

Chike started his career by auditioning for Project Fame West Africa. He was part of the top 10 contestants and got eliminated after reaching the top 10. Chike made a comeback auditioning for The Voice Nigeria with a rendition of Roses from James Arthur with all four coaches turning their chairs and giving him a standing ovation. He picked Patoranking as his coach and went on to finish as the runner-up of the show as A’rese emerged the winner.

Chike made his acting debut as Mayowa Badmus on Africa Magic original show, Battleground. He went on to release a couple of singles, including the Ric Hassani-assisted Nakupenda. In the heat of 2020’s valentine’s day, Chike dropped his anticipated album titled, Boo of the Booeless. It became one of the best-selling albums of 2020.

His big break came with him emerging the first runner-up of the reality tv show, The Voice Nigeria
