(J.A.H stands for Just Aim High) Jah is a 17-year-old Chicago native with a passion for music. Jah was born December 27, 1999, and his real name is Jamere Jackson. He started his artistic journey at a young age listening to another artist like Tupac, Nas, and Rakim and then growing up and listen to Drake, Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole and other Chicago natives like chance the rapper. Jah credits his family for always having musical talent and a little knowledge in the music business which helped shaped his musical sound. 

He started writing raps in the 5th grade. But it wasn’t until his 8th-grade year when he recorded his first song which was a remix to the Chicago anthem CHIRAQ. After that, he started writing more and going to the studio more and finding his sound. He makes music that talks about his life and his struggles growing up in the Englewood area. But his rough upbringing in that neighborhood didn’t stop him from going after his goal. He didn’t let the negative things happening around him lead him down a dark path. 

Jah also makes feel good music that is nice to listen too and has been featured on the radio on power 92.3 With his hit song ” I GOT YOU” and is planning to release more music and music videos. GO AND FOLLOW JAH. He is presumably one of the most expressive youthful craftsmen that is coming out of Chicago with music that is exceptionally special, unique, and catchy. His Stage presence is off the meter. To depict his creativity, he puts the amazing before grace.
