Leona Lee brings her Trinidadian heart and soul into her multitude of artistry that includes singing, dancing, songwriting and acting.  The 18-year-old from Dallas who has been entertaining since she was a toddler is poised to set the music industry on fire.  Last year, she released her first EP, The Dawn, an extraordinary showcase of her vocal skills and songwriting talent as well as versatility as an artist.  Since its release, she has moved to California to make her dreams come true as she promotes her newest song, "Whine Up On Me."

Leona was just 3 years old when she began unleashing her irrepressible passion to entertain in practically every way, singing in the church choir, training in various forms of dance, acting in Barney and Friends, and playing the piano.  At age 9, she knew she wanted to entertain the world when she belted out the James Brown hit, "I Feel Good," at her mom's wedding.

By the sixth grade, she was ready to add songwriting to her artistic skill set after winning an award for her school district's "Reflections" competition, which allowed students to showcase their interpretation of the phrase "Together We Can" through any form of art.

As years passed, Leona continued taking acting, dance, and piano classes to hone her craft.  In March 2015, she released The Dawn, her first EP, which consists of 6 songs, all written and co-produced by her, and since moving to California, she is making big strides towards reaching a wider audience for her artistry.  Her newest song, Whine Up On Me, is a song that will delight listeners with its catchy lyrics and dancehall beat that showcase her Trinidadian culture.

Leona is currently working on new music and more videos to entertain the world and set the industry on fire.  She also performs at anti-bullying "rallies," at which her sister, who has been bullied, sings anti-bullying songs written by Leona.  The songs seek to uplift and give confidence to kids who have been bullied.

Indeed, Leona wants not just to entertain the world but also to help the world.  She believes in charity and giving back to the community.  Her mom runs a non-profit in Dallas, where Leona volunteers as much as she can.  Since moving to LA, she is especially concerned for the many homeless she has seen.  Last Christmas, she prepared "care packages" that included supportive letters for the homeless.

Attending high school in LA, Leona was alarmed by the number of girls who center their lives so much on themselves and their wants while not thinking about the needs of others.  Leona wants not only to be a positive, charitable role model, but also to create entertainment that encourages and inspires the best in all people – so that they can all be positive, charitable role models.
