Born in Lima Ohio, Latisha Debose aka X$pensive, has been singing since the age of 2. She credits her love of music to her father, a singer who opened for Earth, Wind and Fire before following his true Gospel calling. Once following his calling, Latisha Dad opened for the Mighty Clouds of Joy, The Mississippi Mass Choir and others. Listening to her father constantly sing on stage, Latisha followed his lead and found her passion in singing. 

She began singing in the choir at an early age and as her passion grew her talent developed. She was crowned her hometown’s Miss Opportunity Pageant winner two years in a row, performed at the Columbus Ohio State Fair and on her Ohio local television station.

She got her big break in 2009. Sitting in the audience doing a BET taping on the Monique Show, she sang a song she had written. Monique heard her and asked that she come back the next day to perform for the song. This led to an opportunity to perform with Mo'Nique’s house band "Big Jim & The Penthouse Players". Just as things were beginning to happen for her she was in a horrible auto accident resulting in multiple herniated discs in her neck requiring five separate surgeries, still now she refuses to give up. 

Down and out Latisha turns, as many do, to the streets but soon found out how tough they can be. According to Latisha “I’m from the streets but my background is in the church. I’ve been in the trenches just like a lot of people just trying to survive. That’s what people want to hear…somebody telling their stories” Her single “Lord Help Me” was released Thanksgiving 2017 on YouTube. And Latisha is currently in the studio working on her first studio album to Drop in the winter 2018.
